INTRODUCTION


Hi there! We are Anny and Miro and we are portrait artists from Gabrovo - a small town located in the heart of Bulgaria. We've got an experience of over 25 years, but only recently we decided to move into the digital world.

Art is our passion and it's our mission to make it accessible for everyone. We created MasterpieceDirect to enable everyday people to easily commission personalised original art online. We love making people happy with our art and want to reach as many people as possible. That's why we are now creating beautiful portraits for our online customers from throughout the world.

HOWIT ALL BEGAN


25 years ago we decided to open an outdoor studio in Albena, Bulgaria to use during the summer months. It's a seaside resort where people from all over the world come to enjoy the sea waves and the golden sands. In the beginning we were painting portraits from Life - it was fun and people loved it! Seeing the spark of happiness in their eyes when they see the finished portrait made us realise this was what we wanted to do with our life.

Today, two decades later, we still use our outdoor studio in the summer! We're now painting portraits from reference photos and over the years, we have perfected our technique and our art is of exceptional quality.
